The Romanesque Room | Premier Event Venue

The Romanesque Room, located in the Historic Green Hotel in Pasadena, is a registered historical landmark and a premier event venue. With ballroom seating for 250 guests, a dance floor, stage, and a large outdoor patio, it offers a grand setting for weddings and special occasions. The venue allows a BYOB policy with professional bartenders and features Chiavari chairs and diverse cuisine options through “The Restaurant Partners Program.”

In 1984, Castle Catering original owner Ron Hobbs discovered the venue while searching for a kitchen space. Hidden behind double doors, he found a forgotten ballroom with peeling paint, broken pillars, and remnants of a film set. Seeing its potential, he restored and renamed it The Romanesque Room, bringing back its elegance as the Main Dining Room of the Green Hotel. For over three decades, Castle Catering has hosted weddings, fundraisers, and special events at both The Romanesque Room and Castle Green.
